Schwinn Orange Krate Bike 1968This is a rare find, i apologize but ti is a little dusty. I have had this bike looked at by a collector and was told that this is an original 1968 schwinn orange krate.
The only thing that is not original is the back tire. This bike has not been repainted.
It apperas to have all the bells and whistles. Gear shifter si original and i believe it is in working order yet, i have not rode the bike. It has a few scratches in the frame paint, also on the bottom of the seat near the rear tag. The tires need air and the front tire looks like it has a dry rot spot on it. The tries did hold air when filled last year. This would be an excelent christmas gift for that unexpecting husband who remembers these bikes as a child or for the avid collector.
