Antique 1890S Gentlemens Wood Rim Bicycle
~ antique 1890's gentlemen's bicycle ~ ( all original ). Here's an interesting 1890's bicycle that's complete and in good shape after 110 years!
It still retains most of the original midnight blue paint with beautiful accent stripping. The original nickle plating is in good shape, but could use a thorough cleaning up with a nice quality. Chrome polish.
The original paint could be polished or sealed in to bring out the nice deep color. The original leather seat is in good shape with some cracks and leather wear.
The seats are usually missing! The wood and leather handlebar grisp are in good shape. It has rat trpa pedals on the cranks, and they spin nicely.
The rear uhb is direct drive ( no brakes ). It also has early block chain connected to the sprockets. The wooden rims are twisted nad should be replaced. It has a decal on teh head tube. I can't quite make out all of it, but it.

The stand over height without tires is 31-3/4 inches. With all of it's flaws, it is still in good original condition and would be an very interesting historic bicycle in anyone's collection!
