1952 Schwinn Original Paint 26 Vintage BikeDescription up for auction is this original, unrestored 26 schwinn. Frame # b58503 bulit in march of 1952. I bought this a few years ago for my wife. Unfortunately, she does not shaer my love of vintage bikes. So here is your chance to pick up a nice one cheap. Check out htat original blue & white paint. The paint is in very good condition with cihps and scratches consistent with its age. The paint and pinstripes on the s-2 wheels are excellent. They are still sporting the original typhoon balloon tires w/brick pattern tread! This bike is worth buying for the wheels and tires alone. I replaced the bars and grips with aftermarket, otherwise bike is all original. The saddle cover has tears ni the top(see picture). The last time my wife rode this bike, she told me that it occasionally slipped when she stood up to pedal. Perhaps the rear hub needs some attention? Other than that, the bike is mechanically solid. I will throw in the basket shown in the last picture fi the winner wants to pay the extra shipping. I have posted many pictuers to show the condition.
