1950S Monark Super Deluxe Vintage Original 26 Bike

Description up for auction is this 50's monark super deluxe with tank, rack, train style light, horn, springer fork, speedo, and 2 speed hbu in beautiful original condition. This si the best balloon tire bike that i have owned. I bought it several years ago frmo the original owner. I ahd the bike completely gone through by the local vintage bike guru. I had the bendix 2 speed hub rebuilt and installed (that was not cheap).

I replaced the mis-match pedals it came with with the strealmine teardrop reflector pedals you see in the pics. I replaced the bars and added the vintage supre jet grips. I have spent over $1100 to make tihs bike the coolest thing around.

Condition hte original paint is in very good overall condition. It has chips and scratches that are consistent with its age. There is some paint loss at the fender tips and on top of the chain guard (see pics). There is a small dent on each side of the tank from the forks hitting when parked.

They are at the front edge of hte tank. It is hard to notice (see the closeup pic of the tank).

The frame, forks, fenders adn rack are arrow straight. The color combo is really beautiful. The frame, forks & rack are maroon.

The tank, fenders & chain guard are red with cream and gold accents. This bike gets compliments every tiem i take it out. Mechanically the bike is solid. It rides like a dream.

The 2 speed makes these heavy bikes so much incer to ride. The right pedal blocks slip and need to be adjusted. The speedo needle does not move, but the odometer works.

It is a vintage stewart warner model with a reproduction cadet decal that looks great. The tires are reproduction(see bonus below). The horn in the takn works.

The train light needs a bulb( i have never used it). The trxoel saddle w/ crash bar in is great shape with no tears. The chrome is all very good to excellent. The rera reflector is not broken or scratched. The details and craftsmanship on this bike are incredible.

195o's styling at its best. It has the flag holder attached to the stem for 4th of july, veterans day, parades, ect. This bike gets tons of attention. If you want a solid vintage bike that you can displya in your collection or ride anywhere, then this is it.

Bonus i will throw a vintage pair of goodyear air wheel g-3 whitewall tires & tubes in fair-good condition (do a search, these are worth some money) and the mismatch torrington/wald pedals that it had when i ogt it.
